Vatican Museums
Choose a museum visit if art and history matter to you. St Peter’s Basilica and the museums have separate access arrangements, so plan them deliberately.
Historic centre
Walk between the Pantheon area, Piazza Navona and the Trevi Fountain. Early or later visits offer a different atmosphere from the busiest part of the day.
