Ubud and its surroundings
Spend time with Balinese art, traditional dance and the rice-field scenery around Ubud. Rural paths can be muddy, and popular terraces may have separate access charges.
Tanah Lot
The sea temple's offshore setting is its main appeal, especially around sunset. Treat it as a coastal visit and respect barriers, tides and religious access rules.
Sanur and the coast
Sanur is known for sunrise views and a gentler seaside atmosphere than some southern beach areas. Conditions still vary: choose swimming spots with local advice.
